ANDREA
Andrea began training in Krav Maga with Dave in 2016 after doing research on effective self-defence systems. She wanted to pick a system that would help her stay safe in the real world (not just on the mat), that she could train in on a regular basis to build muscle memory. She quickly fell in love with not just the physical challenge but the mental challenge of Krav Maga. It has given her a way to grow her confidence in herself and her abilities, on and off the mat. She's truly grateful to Dave for his wisdom and experience! When an opportunity came up to become an instructor, she rose to the challenge even though it was wildly uncomfortable for her. Andrea is a certified instructor and at a level G2. She is passionate about learning to empower others to be their best selves. Read about Andrea's journey of struggling with the idea of defending herself.

Leah is a teacher by day and also loves teaching Krav Maga in the evenings. She knows her material better than anyone and is an inspiration for all women who want to overcome their circumstances. Leah is a certified instructor and at a level G1, and has a heart of gold. She continues to fiercely overcome any and all obstacles for the benefit of all.

CLAIRE
Claire began training in Krav Maga at Tip of Spear when she was only 17 years old. Initially encouraged to take self-defence training from her parents due to the large amount of travelling she was doing, Claire quickly fell in love with the real world application and physical and mental challenge that it provides. She loves doing hard, uncomfortable things because she knows it's the path of growth. She owes all her skills and knowledge to Dave! She decided to become an instructor as she knew the experience would grow her, and she loves teaching and sharing what she's learned. Claire is away for a year studying but will be back in 2023.
