Meet our Program Admin & Krav Maga Instructor
ANDREA
Andrea began training in Krav Maga with Dave in 2016 after doing research on effective self-defence systems. She wanted to pick a system that would help her stay safe in the real world (not just on the mat), that she could train in on a regular basis to build muscle memory. She quickly fell in love with not just the physical challenge but the mental challenge of Krav Maga. It has given her a way to grow her confidence in herself and her abilities, on and off the mat. When an opportunity came up to become an instructor, she rose to the challenge even though it was wildly uncomfortable for her. Andrea is a certified instructor and at level G3. She sees teaching as a massive responsibility and takes it incredibly seriously as it could be the difference between life and death for a student. She is passionate about continuing to learn in order to empower others to be their best selves. Read about Andrea's journey of struggling with the idea of defending herself.
