Women's Self-Defence Classes
Women's Krav Maga self-defence classes are for women only, taught by female instructors, and with curriculum honed and designed over decades to specifically help women learn how to defend themselves. Regardless of your past personal experiences, Tip of Spear is a safe place to develop the confidence and learn skills to stay safe in real life. We cover the same curriculum as the co-ed Beginner class, but with additional techniques from other levels to defend against common attacks against women, such as wrist grabs, bear hugs and ground chokes.

Each session is 3 months with the exam on the last day. Students are given the option to test for the P1 level at the end of the session. If a student attends the majority of the classes, they should be more than prepared to take the exam if they choose. Taking the exam allows them to move to the Intermediate Class and work on their next level. Testing is not mandatory as we encourage students to work at their own pace. Please read our FAQ section for any additional questions about the exam (including cost), uniform, level of fitness, past trauma and more.
